Come on then, show us the absolute #1 guitar than you own!

I thought this might make an interesting thread  :)

Some of us own one guitar, some of us several, some of us probably too many *cough*  :roll:

You must have an absolute #1.  One that stands out just that bit more than the others.  You love them all, but there's just something about that one guitar that you can't put your finger on.  It's different, it's got "something".

For me, it's not the one you might think.  I have two clear leaders, and as I'm more of a humbucker man than a single coil man most of the time it boils down to this one.  It's got something in its voice that's more vocal.  It's supremely comfortable to play, it's light, it's resonant.  It was a completely blind on-line purchase that's paid off BIG time - bought because of its looks, I'm equally in love with its tone.  It's completely stock, and it doesn't need any modifications.  It's perfect.

This is Twinfan's #1 guitar.  What's yours?

this one is damn gorgeous... i can't afford a PRS so i never even tried one (to avoid GAS, of course...)... maybe one day i'll have this one...

aaaaaaaah...PRS Standard in charcoal finish. makes me cry every time I see it. simply stunning. makes me wanna practice even more!!! my very first GAS ever :P 8)

it looks okay, but I'm definitely not a fan of birds on the fretboard, and the placement of the tone and volume pots just confuses me. Otherwise, a fairly nice guitar ;)

More so. I actually forgot that it was fanned fret when I picked it up, because the wood is SO tactile! It really is a thing of wonder and beauty to hold! :)

Was my first 'proper' electric, so it has to be this one - got it from someone "selling for her boyfriend" - paid cash and legged it! 1989 Standard - weighs a ton - neck is quite slim - carries a set of Mules with a out of phase option if you pull out the neck tone pot.
