Need pics of the back as the rosewood necks vary and that one looks like a cracker, a nice light colour!

Dont you have ibanez's? and as a ACDC fan SG's still? are prs that good you've sold everything? Nice.

I'm not bothered by rosewood colour, some people will only buy the really dark stuff.  I'm not fussed, especially at this price!  The fingerboard is separate, so I think the headstock is the best guess of what the neck itself looks like!

I've got four Ibanez guitars at the minute, although one will be up for sale shortly.  I've got my Epi SG for gigging with 'DC but I sold the Gibson '61 I had.  The only Gibson I own now is a Les Paul Special Doublecut with P90s......

I'm an IT Project Manger.  We have a reasonably priced house that we bought in 2000 before the prices skyrocketed, cheap cars, we don't really drink, don't smoke or do drugs and we don't have kids.  My spare money goes on my gear, and in the last few years I've bought loads of stuff it's true.  Sorry  :oops:

In the last 6 months or so I've been selling stuff to buy stuff, like I think most 'normal' people do  :lol:  Before that, I'd been just spending.  At a silly rate  :roll:  That couldn't continue.

I'll be selling a McCarty Korina and an Ibanez RG770DX to pay for this new one, so it'll actually only 'cost' me a couple of hundred quid....

And Roo - nope!  They just sound too odd!!!  :lol:

At least buying gear you are buying stuff that will hold the majority of its value or even appreciate - you could have gone out and bought a procession of ridiculous cars (like me)  :lol:

It was always going to be Twinfan first, Fernando!! (But I've got a quiet bet on Philly and a certain  Emerald - it might take a while yet, but I think it's written in the stars/cards/wotever... :lol:)

I'm still focused on building parts Strats and Teles.  No plans at all to buy anything "ready-made" at the moment.  Of course that could all change any moment!

I am totally fascinated by that guitar, but I really do have an enormous hurdle of "Catholic guilt" to overcome in terms of

(a) spending that much money; and

(b) justifying it on any other grounds whatsoever, considering my musical skills are roughly equivalent to a recorder-wielding 8-year-old playing "O Little Town Of Bethlehem" at a school carol concert.  :oops:
