Guys, any recommendations for patch leads that I can make up for my pedalboard?
Mark.

I'd suggest have a look at the Cleartone site
www.award-session.com
they do short cables to order.

^+1 I have a few of their patch cables and 2 of their long leads and they're all brilliant.

Either of the above - I've used both and they're fine. Cleartone have an adavantage if you need funny lengths.

George L's are good. Small, take up hardly any room, cut to whatever length you need. Mine have been reliable for the last 2 years.

The custom planet waves cables are great from my experience, if a little chunky. I believe that they do a similar kit to the george L's as well.

Best I ever had was a DiMarzio braided wire, but expensive and chunky.
I got one of these sets from Lavacables and it ws nice!

Got the Cleartone patch leads, including a custom 90cm length, and plumbed it all in the morning.
They really DO seem to make a tonal difference - everything just seems clearer. Maybe it's just my imagination though...

Yet another vote for Cleartones. I play low volume and deliberately exploit every nuance of string / pick - and the Cleartones really did stand out by making this possible.
They
can
turn out expensive though - as they make you give your other leads away , buy a pair of B.K.P. Manhattans and an agate pick .
