My initial thought it 'Peavey make PICKUPS?!?!?!' then i remember they do make guitars too... i just never ever see them, except the wolfgang which i always think is a Musicman anyway.

I think I jumped the gun on this.


The pickup works but it doesn't have half the output the stock blaze had, let alone the amount of balls the main site would have me believe. So I'm thinking I still haven't wired it up properly.

I have the red wire and the white wire on the switch, the green wire on another part of the switch and the black and bare wires on the pot going to ground.

Does this sound right?

... wire the white + green, and place the red where the green wire was.

Ah that looks very different to how I have mine wired up.


I'll have another crack tonight, failing that I'll just wait for the cold sweat to get here and dump it on the local guy.  :lol:
