When I was at Uni (Lufbra), on the way to lectures I had to pass the womens pole vaulting team practice twice a week.  It was brilliant

I think most women athletes look good these days (throwing events excepted).

Very different from the early '80s when everything was won by supiciously manly-looking East Germans!
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Yeah but the Pole Vault girls are the elite looks wise!! They are all tall and have perfectly shaped, athletic figures. Maybe I should skip Yoga and start Pole Vaulting

:o Who's that?  Is she a real top class vaulter?

(Not much wrong with Yelena Isinbayeva, either)

Phwoor, who's that and why isn't she my mistress.  Oh yeah, cause I'm ugly and getting fat, that's why.

Still, I might be ugly but at least I ain't got no money.  Damn that doesn't work either.

EDIT: Her kit says German, but her armpits say not

I believe it is Allison Stokke. Apparently she has a large male following - I can't see why though  :)

+100 on the wimin pole vaulters...

I went to Crystal Palace a few years ago. Only time I've been to an athletics meet. I found it highly confusing, everything happening at once, applause breaking out for no apparent reason, etc, I found I'd much rather watch it on telly.

The one thing that saved the entire evening for me was the women's pole vault. Not only was it an exciting and thrilling competition ( - even I could understand it...) but my seat was just past the mat, and height-wise I was just about level with the bar... The view was stunning

Oh dear

Apparently she has set a number of college records in America - not sure if this is impressive or not though!
