If you find the V30 nasal it may just need breaking in, mine took quite a few high volume gigs before it evened out. It still has a mid spike but it's not so brittle. In fact i think it's quite usefull as it cuts through a mix really well. I like it paired with the Fane as that has lots of low end and high frequency, it balances out.
