Aaaaaaaaaah this is insane! though completely right...

Looking at a PRS McArty on ebay at the moment, absolutely perfect for my 2nd guitar and would compliment my CE 24 perfectly.

But i doubt i can afford it now i've bought a POD XT Pro... im seriously considering putting it up for BIN on ebay or on here for what i paid for it just so i can have the only two guitars i'd ever need, ever. My strat-a-like and les-paul-a-like.

And Phil, yeah i don't like the red ones either... im not overly sure why as red was my favourite colour, i just don't think the colour they use is very good for red.

I'm honestly not too fussed about birds or 10 tops or artist packs... i have a sneeking suspision that the 10 tops and artists packs only increase value and not really tone.

And anyway, i like my bargains! proper yorkshire like...

Sods law it is, that i've just found the perfect sound i was always after for general playing out of guitar rig 3... finally paid attention to the 'tweedman' settings which sounded rubbish with cr@p guitars... its now very satisfying with the PRS CE, just needs the PAF flavour!

Correct.  You want one with moons and a non-10 top.  Best bang for the buck.

I know there is a lot of love on the BKP forum, but I just cant bond with them. I had a beautiful CU22 10 top w/birds and it just sat in its case. Gibson, Dean USA, and Fenders for me, and the G&L ASAT may hang around too.

Being my brain must be TIRING.

Blackmachines are beautiful for metal, if i were a metal player playing anywhere below standard i'd have one for sure. I just think the PRS is more for the general player, i can play anything on a PRS in any type of band.

Hell... so dave, my CE24 with just DOTS is ultra-bare-bones-bargain? :D
