Nailbomb goes well, but it's a pretty contemporary pickup so it might not be the sound you are after, but it does work well.

We have a Manson custom set which is a MQ neck with a NB bridge and there are no balance issues in terms of output. The MQ neck is a powerful sounding pickup even if it isn't actually powerful (I don't know the DC ratings of the top of my head).

7.5k, i believe... i have it in a calibrated set, but i think you're right... it can couple well with hotter pickups and stay proudly in the mix. it's nothing like strat-like single coils, that have the annoying tendency to disappear in an H-S-H setup.
Mule, MQ, Stockholm, CS, RY, MM, PK, ANB, CNB, AWP, CWP, PiG90...

Yeah, I have to agree and say +1 for a bridge MQ, I have a bridge queen in my guitar and I love it. I don't use the neck, but if I did, I'd most likely put another MQ in, or swipe my bridge into the neck and get a hot nailbomb for the bridge, or even better yet, a pig-90 in MQ housing...  :twisted:
