doom metal with holy divers and cold sweats! (paradise lost - daylight torn)

some of the things i literally grew up with...
this is a "summary" of daylight torn, a song from the 1992 album "shades of god" by paradise lost

left guitar is my Gibson SG with Cold Sweats, right guitar is my USM Hornet with Holy Divers. Clean, leads and solo are played with the HDs. Amps emulated with PODxt, recorded with line out through the line-in of my Creative Sb X-Fi audio card.
Bass as always is my Cort A5, drums made with Reason.

of course i recorded everything with the wrong tempo, the original song being a bit faster (i think 60 bpm instead of 55). and so the solo is quite sparse and, in general, sucks...

I like this. It isn't a representation of doom metal I wouldn't have thought though. Unless it is with lyrics but I like it nonetheless.
