hmm, i've been a member for a fair old while, but i suppose i just don't have as much to say as some of you guys!  i did used to come in from the pub at four in the morning and post some awful drivel, then wake up and have to check and see if i'd offended anyone :)

maybe i'll catch up a bit sometime. anyway, congrats to Philly on being No. 1!!   :P

edit: just checked, i joined on september 22 2005.  963 posts in 3 1/2 years!? pathetic!

Personally I read much more than i write, and that's probably a good thing. However, I do like to visit and I like me some BK Pickups too!

+1 on that - I do actually read a lot more threads than the ones I end up posting in. There are subjects where I've learnt a lot on here, but I still don't have anything to add to them, or that I want/need to say...

TBH I don't see why I SHOULDN'T bring my laptop. I'm at Uni so I just use my Toneport UX1 so I could technically bring it (with the Toneport UX1), but I'll need a speaker cabinet.

It is interesting too about how some of the regulars go away for a while. I haven't seen Peter Antal post lately unless I have missed him.

Yeah, and whatever happened to Rob Kilby?  :(

You also get those people who join up, post like mad for a couple of weeks then suddenly vanish.

You know, im on here almost daily but i rarely post... i don't think anyone gives a toss what i have to say really ;)

Me neither, but I just write stuff for my own entertainment really  .  And I try to be helpful sometimes, I guess.

I'm a lot quieter in person... as the guys at the London meet will realise in a couple of weeks when I spend 4 hours sitting in the corner looking embarrassed....

Philly! I've dug out all the things I've got planned for you!  You'll be ok it's not rocket science. It's beneficial once you get going with it. I won't bang on about these things all night though. I'll do you some copys of the diagrams ect . Show you briefly how it works. Its all going to happen in your own time anyway. Then we can play with guitars and amps and get on the Richter scale!!

I'm afraid you won't let me out until I can execute a perfect paradiddle and a triple salco (or whatever it was J. Mizarolli taught you).... it'll be a long wait.

Relax philly  Paradiddles are for drummers. Just a few small things really, small in amount of info but big in amount of what it'll do for your fingers.

gwEm wants to go with the 3rd eye thing, its mental! I thik i'll just pass that one over to its pioneer , i can't do that  but do have the gist of how its supposed to work. Of course its no good unless you have the technique to execute it. Which is what me a and you are going to have a go at. Its good!  :D

80% of twinfans posts probably involve a PRS, the other 20% are about adding g12h's with v30s in an X pattern
