i used to love kreator and slayer, much heavier than metallica! :)
and i can suggest you a very nice but not much known thrash album... kurimus by mokoma, a finnish band. they play "almost" death metal, now, but that record was absolutely thrash!
Mule, MQ, Stockholm, CS, RY, MM, PK, ANB, CNB, AWP, CWP, PiG90...

too many? ;)
