Looking good- especially the bulbous bit.

I'm sorry, I realise I'm a little late here, but I've never been quite sure which bit is the 'bulbous bit'... Is it the top horn?

Well Indy I am not entirely sure myself but yes I think that is the bulbous bit that offends. Rarely have I seen such a good one though.

Cheers guys - it is a bit more pronounced in the flesh.  It was very sunny when I took the pics, for a change in Manchester!  That guitar seems to bring out the sun  :D

I think a slightly darker body stain would just make it perfect.  I'll leave it for now though and re-oil it when it wears a bit...

Probably only you can tell at the moment on the dark/light thing, I can't really judge from photos.

I'm wondering whether one of the things unsettling you might be the patterns though? The grain on both pieces is pretty, but maybe they don't complement each other too well? However, I think you're right about tuners, and especially strings - that'll break it up a bit. I've got a feeling you're going to be alright. :D

It needs to settle in, and I've got some fret buzz issues, so clips will have to wait a little bit.  May take it to a tech for a full checkover.  Looks and sounds pretty darn good though!  You can feel the neck resonating in your hand as you play, and it weighs hardly anything!

30 is easy! If it only was cold here now I would be really alright, but hate gray sky and rain... even more than 30+ degrees

it's like that here all year. :lol: except for the roughly 5 days a year when it's nice, and then it's unbearably humid and muggy if the temperature hits much above 20C. :(

I like the sound of that.  I could always go away somewhere colder for those 5 days.
