JP wiring question (help!!)
« on: October 16, 2005, 12:03:31 PM »
I managed to finish re-wiring my Edwards LP with the Jimmy Page wiring at about 2am, only to find out that I get no sound at all!

I've checked and double checked, everything is where it should be and all the grounds are OK, no wires touching as far as I can see...

Anyone know of any other reason why I get silence?....
"What frequency are you getting? Is it noise or sweet, sweet music?"

Work back from the jack socket, odds on there's a short on the final run to the jack to be getting no sound at all!

I hope it is as easy as that, you could well be right as it's the braided old style wire, so it only has to otuch a lug on a pot I suppose?...
