I think the Axe-FX thing is like the Relic issue - you either understand it, and love, it or you don't. There's no half-way house!
Me, I love Relics as they feel so great to play. They're the pre-washed denim jeans of the guitar world. Who cares if they didn't 'earn' their wear like a true old guitar? I think they're better than old ones as they feel like them but the parts aren't knackered! :lol:
And proper valve amps always rule over a computer. There's just something about that old technology that makes it more raw and rock 'n roll. Why play a 60 year old design like a Telecaster through a brand new silicon based chip? Old skool should stay with old skool :D
If you want to play through a computer, get a SynthAxe, midi switching and a modeller and go the whole hog..........
