push it down, pitch goes up. it has two allen bolts in each arm to control the travel so its perfectly in tune
its currently tuned to open D which is D A D F# A D
with the arms i think i have it set up like this

or somehting like that anyway. basically it gives pedal steel effects without a very expensive pedal steel. I think duesenberg are making a modern equivelnt of the palm pedal and you can get more levers added and have them fold out the way - - - but they dont have the bigsby horseshoe. massive fail!!
