Got a new blade this week ...

Haven't had much time to post this week. I picked up a new blade for a song this week:








29.5" spring steel blade, about 38" overall length, brass tang, from one of China's bigger forges, the Dragon Well Forge. As you can see, it's not fancy, but it does the job well enough. :) Very well balanced.

I like Japanese swords. The craftmanship in it is awesome. I want one of those stands with the different types.

I bought a shōtō, a shorter sword. It's fake but it's still a cool thing to have.

 if i have to pay $1000 for my spring steel katana, then you should do the same out of courtesy... though i dont pay 10% of what you do for practice.. so i'll let you have that one  :lol:
