Agreed, but they were never particularly popular were/are they.  One has to really scr@pe around to even find a couple of male artists who have really quite low voices who have had any real success. Almost always they're into very alternative music.

Elvis?  Tom Jones?  Alice Cooper?  Barry White? :)
cry HAVOC!! and let slip the pigs of war!!!

Whenever I am in the tractor I try to sing to pass the time

i come from a rural area myself, so please don't take offence, i just found that line very funny  :)

:) It's ideal though, nobody can hear or see. I can just make a fool of myself

The only think I can play and "sing" along to at the same time is The Office - Freelove Freeway  Anything else and I cant play at all. I cant sing either though, my voice is so quiet/weak that it gets drowned out by the guitar haha

My copy of the book came this morning.  Been working through the exercises for about an hour or so.  So far, so good.  There's a lot of stuff in there I hadn't even thought about before.  I'll be a rock god in no time :D

I heard about that singing from the chest thingy last year, and was curious.
Whenever I am in the tractor I try to sing to pass the time, and I think its getting better.

I do the same in my lorry will. I was thinking of compiling a playlist on the ipod of songs for big vocal workouts.

That book looks great Dave. I bought a Dave Mead guitar book form the same publisher.

You have no notes on the wonders of Third Eye singing then? ;)
You will probably have a good variety of songs to choose between, when you get there could you list the playlist please?

Yes i'll have to give the list some thought. it will be varied in styles though.
Do you singalong to music in the tractor or are you on your own?

 I did have an old classical nylon stung guitar in the cab of my lorry for a year and used to sing with that, i used to get some strange looks in the truck stops and lay bys!! I've got it at home now as its better than i thought it was at first. I'll have to get another lorry guitar though, great fun. You must get a tractor guitar!!

I take my Epi out with me in the summer, I think this year its going to be my cheapo acoustic.
With the long days I don't get a chance to play guitar otherwise

Hmm, might have to invest in that book. My singing has got better gradually over the years, but it's still not good enough to front a band, and I'd like it to be.
