update!

I got my BKP's today. hooray. they fit snugly into the emg707 cavity with a slight bending of the tabs. it's a piece of cake.

for a floyd it's not a problem, but you may need to think about drilling a hole from the electronics cavity to the bridge. i have a wire wrapping around the bridge down into the pickup cavity for now, but that's the only aspect i forgot. damn emg's are internally grounded...
My BK's:
Black Dog8-Riff Raff8 / Black Dog7-Mule7
C-Bomb Set / Blackhawk Bridge
Holydiver Set/ BG50 Set

My pickup arrived today and I installed it, no problems for me either. I have the pickup rings in place too, they do the job perfectly, and I'm really happy how easy it was to make the changeover.

As far as the Painkiller itself, it's simply the most savagely aggressive pickup I've ever used. "The Metal God in a pickup" really is spot on. Not only that, it has exceptional string definition and handles the low B with ease, too. I didn't expect to be blown away to the same extent as I was when I first installed my C-pig in my 6 string, but my expectations have been exceeded once again.
