I hadn't heard about this before, just watched a bit on BBC iPlayer, going to watch the whole show some time today.

I love Bill Bailey he is my favourite comedian and also a very good musician too! He has so much knowledge about music it's unreal!

I am going to see Bill Bailey live in Glasgow in August, can't wait! Should be a great show.
BKP's own: Irish Tours, Mule(b), Black Dog(b)
BKP's had: Riff Raffs, Nailbombs

I watched it last night and thought it was quite funny for the most part.

Some of it was lifted straight from his 'normal' stand up show though. The 'classical musicians taking inspiration from c--kney Music' bit for example

Yeah, he couldn't really dish out all his original jokes cause it was really a thing about the orchestra but with a hint of Bailey in there :P

I loved his Doctor Who in French piece. And the William Tell part. And the bassoon playing the BeeGees lol

He's on the piano and sings it in French. Just listen to the part he talks about it, that he was scared of the theme tune then he'll start singing it. It's so good.

I never thought of Bill Bailey as an orchestra type bloke, probably because of all that jazzy stuff he does

I've also got an excuse to post this again now!!!

gotta be honest I find him really embarasing and cringe inducing. I struggled through this show to try and 'get it' like everyone else seems too but had no luck :/

I'd really look forward to a series of nmtbc without him or Phil Jupitus.

I find him funniest on Buzzc--ks, his live standup is allright but I get tired of it as well. The U2/Edge impression is great though

It was great.

He's a very accomplished musician.  And very, very funny.

Love him on Black Books too...
