My DS-1 Ultra & Java Boost arrived yesterday and all I can say is WOW  :!:  They've far exceeded my expectations. They sound amazing, and very versatile. The Java Boost has a different look than on the website now, cool metallic blue colour with steel knobs. Very cool.  :twisted:

OK, so my playing doesn't compare to the sound clip, but hey, it sounded good, and so do the Black Dog pickups.

I've got a Tokai Love Rock loaded with a matched pair of Black Dog's, and I have to say, that they are THE DOG'S, if yaknoworrameanlike.

Highly underrated pickup IMO.
