Here is an Argos Value Shoe Rack. What ever will it be?
guessed it yet?
............... It's a pedal board!!

I laid out the pedals where they would go. The three bits of paper are meant to be (from right) Korg Pitchblack, Dual True Bypass Loop Router and Tap Tempo (for when I eventually get a delay pedal with TP).
Painted with spray paint. It's green because green was cheaper than other colours at my local DIY store :? I'm cr@p at spraying so not very even. I didn't put any primers either cos I'm too lazy.

Velcro'd

Pedals placed.

(you may have noticed that the CE2 isn't connected... I lost a patch cable while I was making this :()
Back

Power supply from Johnny Shred Freak velcro'd at the back.
Not everything quite went according to plan. Biggest annoyance was that I didn't think the daisy chain would take so much space. I couldn't fit the wah above the tuner for this reason. I think they would be a lot better if the plugs were right angled and low profile.
Still waiting on few things to complete the board. I'm getting a dual looper from Red Onion. Also, I need to get some decent patch leads as I've had these plastic moulded ones for over 5 years. They could do with upgrading I think.
Anyhoo I'm quite proud of my little board! It cost me very little in material and I have enough pieces of wood left over to make a couple more. Maybe I'll make a huge one and a mini one, or play with this first one for a while and try making an improved Mk.2 version. The only tools I used were a screwdriver and a coping saw btw, you don't even need a coping saw really.
Tell me what you guys think :)
