How did it go inside of the horns. That's a right bitch of a job.
You're right about that, there are a few slight gouges left by the shave hook that I'm going to have to sand out.
Here are some pics for those that asked - body has been stripped and rubbed down with wire wool and white spirits - no fine sanding and finishing with tung oil and beeswax as yet, though I'm rather liking it just the way it is in its raw workmanlike state - its a pity bare wood marks up and gets grubby so easily.
I'll put up some more pics once it's finished with new pickguard controls and of course some BKPs :)
