this does sound good!
almost as good as a krank...........

nah but seriously it sounds damn fine. how do the Diezel's compare to something like Bogners? not that ive played either, but im tempted to play an Uberschall if i can find one. Diezels always look a complex for me.

Sounds nice but the overdrive sounds a bit "hifi" if that means anything to anyone

I know what you mean, that is Diezel ... it disturbed me on my Einstein, but the Schmidt reminds me a lot of a :13 on the crunch tones and has a nice grittiness on the highgain which the Eini didn't have.

Yes,i remember your Einstein clips  and ,indeed, i found the overdrive to be too much "processed" or "hifi"sounding (it was compared to the mighty Shiva, though ! 8)) but the Schmidt seems different. We'll see...

listened to it all now, i think it maybe had a bit too much gain on the crunch channel? hard to tell when someone is dialling it in, but i prefer my crunch channel to start off more or less clean, then get heavier from there. i love having a ton of gain available for when i need it, but not if that's the only tone available.
