I wasn't convinced about the scratchplate when I first saw it a while back (as in what it doesn't cover, so why is it there, kinda thing...), but it's kinda grown on me and I now accept it as part of the whole...

I guess the Fender Custom Shop should take most of the credit, but I had the blue sparkle colour in mind from the off.  The natural back was my idea too after we saw how nice the wood looked when cut.  We both agreed on korina for the body and the need for a top binding.

Wez, quite rightly, should take all the credit for the tummy cut, neck heel scultping, scratchplate logo etc.
