It'll be out for another run today.

The Nurburgring doesn't really appeal any more, with it's popularity it's become too busy, too expensive and it's knackered. I can have just as much fun in the Dales and that's on my doorstep.

Loving the Westfield, the Elise not so much. Never been into the curvy "sports car" look, unless its an Aston Martin :) Bet its bloody good fun to drive though!

Those are great cars. Due to my bad back I can't drive sportscars with hard suspension anymore, though. So I'm sticking to American muscle.

I'd never drive an MX5. They're really good but it's a girl's car. I always feel sorry for guys driving them.

Honestly, you're missing out then. They have one of the most balanced chassis in the business and are a great modern take on an old British sports car like an Elan or MGB. If you can see past the unfair image it's given (by people who've never driven them mostly) that is. What it has in it's favor though, is that as it's perceived as a girly car, insurance is comically low. A brilliant car. Nice and soft too for you dicky back ;)

I'll admit, I much prefer the look of the old S1 (curvy like a 60's sports car) and think it'll age much better than the pointy aggressive looks of the S2. But the newer one is a much more practical car for me so made more sense. Strangely though I think the S2 styling much more suits the Exige that looks simply stunning in S2 guise and a little too jelly mold in S1.

My brother used to have one, theyare a bit of a buggar in the wet if you don't have the right tyres on them.  Otherwise they look great and are fun cars.  I like the old Lotus Seven copy - that must be an interesting drive!  It will be great if you are somewhere where there are lots of twisty country roads without much traffic and with a good view.

I'm not one for modding cars but I'd change the indicators from orange to clear and change the main headlights to something more modern and it would look like a brand new car

speaking the nurburgring I can't stand it, ok I've only driven it in games but unless you know the track inside and out you never know what's coming up half the time and so you can never push a car to it's limits, where's the fun in that!!!

I've been in the passenger seat of one of them with a broken leg.  Getting in and out was fun  :D

Oddly enough I was in the passenger seat of a mini with a broken leg.  The trip was about 80 miles each way and I'm 6'2".

I like the Elise and the MX5.  A great car is a great car even if hairdressers take them over (MX5 not the Elise).  You'd never catch me buying a Ferrari though and I'm sick of the sight of Astons (work there every now and again).
