RebelYells with some Fuzz
« on: August 06, 2009, 02:00:51 PM »

These days I wanna experiment with a little different flavours, so I did what I rarely do, boosted the amp with a bit of fuzz. I'm really not a fuzz guy normally, but sometimes it can be fun to walk off the usual path.

So here a clip with the McCarty through some fuzz (at the beginning there is the pure amp and then I switch on the fuzz on the startup click). I am not by any means attempting to copy the tone of the original, I just chose a legato-ish song to have those subtle, vocalish, fuzz-typical sweeps develop:

sorry, i couldn't resist the image. thats nicely played as always hunter. not sure if the fuzz really works on that song - maybe try some sabbath or hendrix?
