I find this flow chart most useful for better understanding of Total Eclipse of the Heart.

It does work a treat - took me a few minutes to work out and has resulted in the song going round in my head for the last hour. Very annoying, particularly when you are on a conference call and need to concentrate!

Too right  :x This simple graph borders upon twisted genius, a subtle and efficient form of mental cruelty... Turning one's own mind into a tool of self torture... Turning the screw of Bonnie Tyler's classic slowly into the pulp that was once a human brain... :? :(

The video for that song remains one of the most bizarre and twisted music promos ever to be screened on MTV. It makes most Devo vids look like a standard "black-and-white band in a warehouse" job.

It does have a rather nice flow to it. On a more academic level I've been meaning to get round to getting some of Edward Tfts books - have you heard of him? Interesting stuff - although not his the statistical graph of the losses to Napoleons army during their campaign on Russia is very good. It's show on his webpage:

Now, where's that Bonnie Tyler greatest hits CD?

Is that the literal translation of the video?

That's serious twisted genius
I await the '80 power ballad PowerPoint with anticipation
