High output?
« on: September 04, 2009, 05:59:05 PM »
Hi guys. I've got an SG lying around and thinking of doing something with it. I usually go towards the low to mid output pickups but recently been listening to alot of Harvey Milk, would love a bridge pickup to get somewhere near that massive crushing tone. Don't have much experience with these sort of pickups would but like to keep in alnico if possible.

first 2 tracks at the top, allthough the rest sound similar, is what im talking about.

Cheers!

Yes, I would suggest Alnico 5 too. I would take Warpigs.

I had a Miracle Man in my SG a long time and it delivers the (metal) goods!   :D
Current BKPs: Miracle Man, Nailbomb, Juggernaut, VHII
Past BKPS: Holy Diver, Trilogy Suite, Sinner, Black Dog
