Last week I was on a film shoot at Elstree Studios, and I'd like to introduce you guys to it. (Allow me to preface by saying that I was only the Boom Op, and have no commercial motive, and as such I hope this isn't classed as spamming-- i'm just proud :)).
The series, Girl Number 9, is a set of six 5 minute 'webisodes' that will be aired from October 30th, at 9pm. Some of you may recognize some in cast, previous roles have included Torchwood, EastEnders, Doc Martin, and more! The promotional blurb is:
Vincent Boylan (Joe Absolom) has just been arrested, suspected of being behind the brutal murder of seven girls, but the team only have a limited time to get a confession. If they can't make him talk, he could slip through their fingers. Detective Matheson (Gareth David-Lloyd), who is leading the investigation, is sent in to try and get some answers. But things soon take a horrifying turn for the worse, as Matheson and his boss Lyndon (Tracy-Ann Oberman) find out that all is not as it seems. The mystery deepens as everyone is drawn into Boylan's sick mind games, and each twist-packed episode ends on a tantalising cliffhanger, making every installment a must-see.
It was a fantastic shoot, great cast and crew, and i'm really looking forward to seeing the finished product. It seems to be drumming up fairly solid following, even though it's been a couple of days since the press release.
