I commend you for having a Trussart, Forge, Ran, ESP and Gibsons.

But now I envy you unfortunately :(

(Congrats!)

cheers and thank you for the replies mates,
its an really awesome guitar, its defintly not everybody taste, but i love this distressed rusty look of her.

when you start playing the guitar, the body feels cold, but after a few minutes its ok, thats different compared to a wooden body.
But interesting is the strings stays in tune very good.

the tone is very present and in your face, but not harsh or annoying, sustain is very long, no dead spots or more or less resonant frets on the fretboard,
on most of my guitars i have notes that are more resonant then others, or got more sustain, but not with the trussart, it seems to be very equal on all notes and strings.

The Guitar has arrived in a perfect setup, on order i told them how to setup the guitar and tuning.. as i discovered, this guitar doesnt have a trussrod..i was a astonished about that..?? well, as said before, the setup is perfect now, should this change in the future i´m gonna drop them an email, i´m sure the is an equivalent way to re-setup the guitar without a trussrod.

the guitar was expensive.. but the current EUR/USD conversion rate was quite good, so that was ok.
Perhaps i´m gonna sell my Bernie Rico and Ran in some future, i have not decided yet, these are great guitars too, but i dont want to have them hanging around and collection dust... i recently sold my 7string, that was good because i havent played her very much, but i usually end up playing most of my guitars each day or two..

Crumbs... I thought we only saw guitars like that in Billy Gibbons's book!!

I'd have to play one myself to know whether I'd get on with a metal thingy (who am I kidding, owner of two resonators!!) - but that looks absolutely killer :D

Nice one, congrats, lust, envy, etc....

looks nice - didnt realise trussarts were free from truss-rods, silly question but are you sure its not in the heel end since they dont mention being truss rod free in the blurb on their site and its normally done as a feature like on vigiers

I was wondering that, specially as "62 neck" is mentioned (all my fender guitars are heel adjusters, and they're all "62 or earlier" stylee...) - but I didn't feel confident enough to say it out loud!!
