Tonelab LE....meant for metal ?
« on: October 02, 2009, 10:18:00 AM »
Hi,

* sorry for this another topic on that product.......I was looking at this tonelab and although Vox says it has a new "metal section" in it, I heard people saying it was not really designed for metal tones.

I am not into über distorded Hi gain sounds : i play with standard tuning and I am more into "classic" 80's heavy metal stuff, think metallica.

can this tonelab achieve that kind of sound or should I go for something else ?

thanks !

Yes it can. That sort of sound is its forte, IMO (such that a modeller has a forte, and despite my very, very low opinion of modellers in general, I think the TLLE stands head and shoulders above its competition)
