Although there is a "rule of thumb" with pedals (Wah/Dist/OD/Modulation/Delay etc), and although this works well for a lot of people, there's absolutely nothing wrong with experimenting with pedal positioning and using your ears to judge whether it sounds good or not.
On saying that, I think if you were using the GE-7 as an EQ, then it's current position is fine, if you're using it as a booster, then I'd put it last in the chain from guitar to amp. There again, if it works as a booster for you in it's current position, then great.
Experimentation is the key, just don't put any OD/Dist in the loop as I've heard they don't sound very good, or do your power amp any good either.
