Blackguard flat '50 Bridge Pickup
« on: October 09, 2009, 10:53:19 PM »
I've had the BG's for a while now and alough I've been rehearsing every week it's only this week I've been able to record the band and I was thinking they sound pretty good but just listened back on my 8-track and feck me....

The fattest, gnarliest  nastyest sound I've ever heard.  Feckin magic.  Hardly any front end gain just a bit of rear end cruch and it sounds FAT.

The neck is sweet but I'm talkin about the bridge, clips to follow.......

Plenty of clips in the "Players" section!

This is an especially good one

Maybe the main BKP website needs an overhaul, it's too much trouble for most people to search for clips here. First rule of web design is "don't make the users think too much".

well no, i found tons of clips in here by clicking "search" and typing in " blackguard " and checking the box " search only in subject " and bingo. that's infact how i found this page right here.  I just love lots of samples and varieties of pickups before i buy 'em is all 0=) And also i do love to bust chops so lol that could be it too.
=) Cheers and God bless =)

I have one in an Esquire I built (for one song in the set, go figure).  It's a great sounding pickup, but almost _too_ raucous, if you know what I mean.  I had to lower it something fierce  8)
