The Cramps.

I have lots of utterly horrible music that will scare people, but hallowe'en needs to be daft and fun.

In A Gadda Da Vida has been used in several horror movies, that's why it might be a good choice.

How about a Tom Waits number?
I too use chicken as a measurement.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I'll listen to them all and have a bash at covering one of them :)

Halloween by the Dead Kennedys?

Just as a reserve if the crowd fail to meet expectations.

I thought the aim was to play helloween themed songs that people (not just jugalos) would enjoy?
Maybe play ICP at the end of the night when you want everyone to leave.

the bassist in my old band ended up with an icp tattoo on his back after cabin fever set in on a 14hr drive on our aussie tour last year.

neither does he.

aussies pretty cool, we just played mostly diy shows and all the dudes from other bands were real good to us, putting us up for the night, cookin us feeds etc.
The only dumb thing is the distance between cities. if you go direct from brisbane to sydney it takes a long time, theres byron bay or newcastle that you can play in between but we didnt, byron bay is mostly a metalcore scene and we couldnt sort out a newcastle show so we played brisbane one night, got up at 5:30 the next morning drove to sydney then played that night.
