RiffRaff Bridge/MQ neck in SG doing some Zep Style Rhythm & Lead
« on: December 07, 2009, 09:29:12 AM »
Did something over a Zep Style drum loop here, two tracks guitar and one track bass all played pretty much in one go, rhythm is more of the neck with some phaser, lead is more of the bridge, all recorded with effects from the Axe FX in the loop of my Steavens amp:

Excellent demo Hunter!

Thanks a lot Tim. Nice to see you around here! How are things? Did you get that Dino 939 yet? Can't wait to hear you ripping some new pickup demos on that monster amp.

Great stuff - keep those clips coming  PDT_003. I like the sound of the Steavens.

I'm considering Riff Raffs for my SG. What's your take on that pick up?  Great clip by the way.

I only have the bridge RR.

It's very clear, yet with depth and an amazing crunch. Has less perceived output than other vintage hot types, but if your amp/pedal has enough gain, it cannot only do the best AC/DC out there, but is also great for face melting metal crunch.

Listening to it now, and I already don't want it to end.

Very nice!

GORGEOUS playing mate!

I was just hammering out details on my pick up needs and Tim fully recommended I go with calibrated RR's...  This was an EXCELLENT sample, thank you.
