I have a love hate relationship with the mans music but this is not good and totally unnecessary to promote his album..  :?

Brace yourself... he got Tim "Ripper" Owens to sing the bloody vocal.  :P

His Sails of Charon cover was excellent in my opinion. Will have to give this one a taste. I'm quite intrigued with his take on the solo, as I can't stand anything that's come out of EVH.  :lol:

I've been feeling quite well-disposed towards the Yng recently, but that was dreadful.

The solo is just Yngwie on autopilot, and when the main riff comes in everything sounds totally OTT and hamfisted.  It's Michael Jackson for $%&#'s sake, you don't have to give it the full-on power metal treatment

It did make me think - I'd like to hear Manowar do an album of pop covers.
