Cornford thoughts anyone

Hey I have heard some demos of some low watt cornfords. I was amazed. Unfortunately still I would not be able to buy one as my neighbors are awful. I am curious to hear what you all have to say about them. Are they british voiced amps? Like Marshall or totally different.

I have a harlequin, which has a voicing switch to move it from british to american tones, but i would say that the british voice is a blend of Marshall and Vox, with a tubescreamer in front i've used it to track high gain leads a la 'Iron Maiden'.

The american voice sounds quite smooth at higher gain levels but can't comment on which american amps it is most alike as i haven't play many.

I love Cornford amps and I think they have there own sound. I can't speak for the lower wattage ones Harly, Carrera or Hurricane, but if I had to ball park the ones I've owned then I'd say the Hellcat is more Vox like, bright and chimey on the vintage channel and AC30 on steroids on the modern channel. The MK50 has a really big crunch sound, to me it's how I always wanted my Marshalls to sound  but they never did? The closest demo I've heard was with a Soldano SLO and that's no bad thing.

i really like the cornfords I've tried, but I'm holding off buying one until I can get to try several head to head (which might be never). I'd say they're british-voiced, yeah, but maybe a wee bit towards america, too.
