Sometimes our furry friends embody more 'human' qualities than we do. To emphasise how noble and relevant this post is - I remember when a Doctor at our local surgery ( who one might assume had a relatively detached perspective on mortality ) lost her beloved dog , she had to take a few days leave - inconsolable, and unable to function in public.
People like you and her , enhance my faith in human nature. What a blessing that Angus appeared in your lives - and that he found a very loving home to appreciate him.
