The people of Halle are very friendly and party hard. Its 3am on a Monday night and people still drinking and dancing. Snapped my A-string during Breaking The Law, which wasn't ideal.. Need to find ttime to change the strings more often.

And get a well qualified and possibly scottish roadie. Hint Hint.
Mississippi Queens, Holydiver.

The schedule is exhausting and I have had a permanent hangover the last four days! But the music part of it is still something I love, even more maybe.

My chops are absolutely on top form, which is not to sound arrogant (I'm still far from a great player), its just a question of consistancy.. My basic Tatler and Roth licks are being rinsed out with a high level of reliability ;)

Sometimes with my solos I have to laugh, since I am here in Germany and blantantly ripping off old Uli.. no one has noticed.

The food and beer is great of course, and we listen to Iron Maiden in the van today, so I think I can make it to the end. Next time a less tough schedule would be better.

I decided to take my white Greco V and not risk my '84 Gibson. Even if I think the Greco is a bit more delicate than that Gibson battle axe, she has done very well so far!

:)

well, here you can see some video:

Thats an '81 Greco with A5/4 Mule set direct into Sansamp British pedal. Despite the couple of obvious errors in my playing, I'm generally quite pleased with the recordings.

I'm back, but with an evil throat infection. Despite alot of shitee moments, it was all well worth it, and I'd certainly be up for such a tour again, maybe with a rest day in the middle though! Much heavy partying :) This was a real experience for me, and alot different to doing the odd show here and there.

Do you tour completely solo, gwEm, and buddy up (and party) with people you meet along the way?

Sounds like great life experience, but utterly terrifying for a shrinking violet like meself.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

On this tour I was together on a bill each night with three other (very cool electro) acts. My drummer was with me for the first three dates, and I played the last six shows alone.
