I'd take the Ron Kirn tele any day of the week but those other things are just a bit too gnarly to be even vaguely desirable

I like the idea... infact now I want to make a barrel into a combo! anyone ever do that? Damn that would be cool, an oak combo.... you could get a few speaker configurations into them.

Ahhhh Whisky and guitars. Great idea, but I can't say I like the body shape.

Also didn't someone make an acoustic for K T Tunstall made from an old whisky barrel?

Don't get me started on whisky or I'll be here all day...

Yeah  me too!

Don't really like the guitar though & Lagavulin is probably my least favourite Islay Malt...

george downing of dismal guitars... much more raw and sick!

http://www.dismalax.com/

also known as orgmorg on project guitar - his work is great.

they are built from actual old barns and things and i am always amazed how he keeps the character of the barn  in with the new stuff he is doing to the wood

:o Love that one!!!

I like the Barden Look in the first picture. I just adore the aesthetics of Bardens
C-pig, C-Diver, Holydiver, Miracle man, Sinner, Trilogy, Slowhand.
