Yeah, the plastic binding and the false/clearcoat binding on PRSs does clash horribly.

But tbh, my main objection to the neck binding is simply that I don't get on at all with bound edge fretboards from a playing point of view. So much so that if I were to order a Feline Lion (one day I will, I swear), I'd order one without a bound board.
Warpigs.

ok, let's go through this list i previously posted:

dano trans od v1 (if i can still find one)
maybe a couple of the other cool cats (picked up the drive too, may pick up another couple, not sure)
vht special 6
bunch of other pedals
tele
would like to try those squier classic vibes, because if they're as nice as everyone is saying, they have a couple of models which look nice.
also would like to try that epi wilshire which martin got recently.

I like the look of binding on Gibsons/Felines etc, but I think the bound PRS necks clash horribly with the "fake" maple binding on the bodies.

They should've gone the whole hog and used real binding on the bodies too.  Or just stuck with no binding!

agreed. or use flamed maple binding on the necks, that'd be sweet (and they're expensive enough). but the binding on the necks of the new anniversary PRSes (just based on pics) clashes as philly says, and also is a pretty horrible colour even if it didn't clash with anything, it just looks kinda cheap.

I've started with the GAS again unfortunately...
Looking for a delay pedal and an overdrive to get a bit more form my Engl Screamer. Haven't look much into it yet, but the Hardwire ones look pretty cool. I'm also looking forward to a second set of Bareknuckles, despite the fact that my first set hasn't even arrived yet...I wish I had more money  :(

A Suhr standard in black with a maple neck.

Longer term gas, I have always wanted a Bogner XTC and maybe another PRS

I'm not really into pitch black guitars but this one i saw in Machinhead music is sexy.

It's a Sterling (Musicman) JP50

Black Dogs

Previous BKP's: Riff Raff, Holy Divers, Painkillers, C. Warpig, Nailbomb, Miracle Man.

That's very elegant, it looks better than the proper EB/MM model.  :)

I've had several GAS outbreaks the last couple of weeks - first it was a PRS SC245, then a custom Feline Lion, then a Fender relic Tele.  Came very close, but they're all in remission.... at least for now.

Still GASing for a Fender Ritchie Blackmore Strat. I think I will have to take a short trip to Glasgow soon and try one out to see if it would be to my liking, might see if I can get a trade-in deal on one.
BKP's own: Irish Tours, Mule(b), Black Dog(b)
BKP's had: Riff Raffs, Nailbombs

I agree I would love a blackmore strat or the Eric johnson strat in white.
All I want to be is normally insane.
