Pickups colors?

why are the pickups in the Gallery- pickup colors- thread- the pickups with no covers all updise down? http://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1527

you have the screw coils on the top and the slugs on the bottom. that doesnt make sence to me.

lets say I was ordering a humbucker for the bridge and i wanted one coil to be creme and the other black (the creme coil being closer to the bridge and the black coil closer to the neck). would I order a Reverse Zebra or standard Zebra? becuase the pics in the gallery are upside down i'm totally confussed.

The screw coil is always closest to the bridge in the bridge position and the neck in the neck position. which ever way you put the picture, it doesn't change the colour of the screw and slug bobbins!

thats what i assumed but i still dont undersatnd why the covered pickups are right side up and the pickups with no covers are upside down?

All the covered are in the bridge position, all the uncovered are in the neck.  Turn your monitor over and they will be the other way araound

It’s just an example of colour options, it doesn’t really matter what way up they are. They still look the same. It’s the way I chose to display them; we haven’t had any problems so far.

what about Mississippi queens and warpigs?
my guitar tech is basically putting them in with
the bpk logo on the back NOT upside down.  does it matter?

I always put them in with the BKP logo the right way up from the bridge side.  However, as long as you have them the same way on all the pickups in the guitar, it won't make any difference.

that is the way we were going to do it.  the bkp logo right side up on both.  thanks!!
