NGD - possibly the last one for a long time
« on: May 06, 2010, 08:14:07 PM »
Milking this NGD as redundancy could mean it's the last one for a long time.

It's a Suhr Standard, usually takes me a little while to bond with guitars but I knew after played 1 note I was going to buy it.

1st impressions, the Suhr Aldrich pickups are a lot more polite than I expected them to be and the 5 way means good options tonally, position 2 on the clean channel is especially nice for apreggiated work.

Fantastic mate, enjoy that one! A Suhr is the only guitar I'm really wanting and it would be either that colour quilt or Bengal/ Tigers eye flame. Awesome guitar.. I'm happy for you... would be even happier if it was mine though!

I've never been keen on fancy maple tops, but I have to admit I'm starting to love that "rippling water" quilt look.  It's much more interesting than flames.

I've been having a nose around at Suhr guitars, and I'm very much liking what I'm seeing...

Blimey, that really is nice - and I don't usually go for guitars unless it says Fender on the headstock.

Quite a lustworthy guitar.   What styles of music are you playing with that baby?
I won $50,000.  Spent $45,000 on sex, drugs, and rock and roll.  The rest I wasted.
