Sinner Clip
« on: December 03, 2005, 04:36:10 AM »
Well, I finally got around to recording a clip of my Sinner pickup. The clip is nothing fancy, just a fairly straight-forward bluesy thing I stuck together in Garageband. Excuse my embarrassing playing. I quit for 5 years, because of health problems and other stuff, and only started up again last May.

Anyways, the lead is done entirely with the Sinner bridge pickup in my Zion hard-tail Strat-style guitar, plugged into my Vox Tonelab SE, which I'm still figuring out, then into the computer.

Blues seems to be the flavour of the month and there aren't many Sinner clips yet, so I hope this gives you some idea of how it can sound. Of course, the guitar sounds a hell of a lot better going through a decent amp or PA than it does through my computer speakers. ;)

Nothing to be embarrassed about there, very nice bit of playing, and that tone is sweet

Thanks for the compliments. :)

_tom_, you can only get Garageband for real computers  :P  ,but check out Acid Music for the PC. It looks pretty good, though I haven't used it myself.

good job and good tone. I liked how the sinner screamed in a few places!

Cheers, guys!

I've been messing around playing some more lead over a rock ballad kinda thing, so I will prolly get around to recording and posting that track later on this week as well. That should give another view of the Sinner sound. I also bought a new lead to connect to my computer with and that seems to have helped the sound a bit too.
