Nothing too special but it's really cool, they only produced them for 1 year apparently.
My Popa Chubby Flying V.

Baby got back!

I'm already looking into BKPing it, sounds pretty good as is but a nice set of BK's will make it shine.

Sorry for the piss poor photos, I'm no photographer.

Nothing special you say? I think it looks great and I never knew they did them with P90's! Excellent choice.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I really lucked on with this one. I've been looking for a nice guitar with P90's for a while and I've also been on the look out for another V after I really regret selling my Gibson a few years ago. Walking in the shop and seeing this stone to kill those two birds I just knew I had to have it.

Traded some gear I've not played in months for it so it might as well have been given to me.

Now, this is my first P90 guitar, are there any particular P90 models you can recommend? I've been looking at the BKP92 and I think it would suit me well, maybe paired with something a bit more mellow(P91?) in the neck?

That is very cool. It definately deserves a pickup and electrics upgrade.

In that guitar I'd put a set of BKP91's with an AV in the bridge and an AIV in the neck.

i've been thinking about a popa chubby V for a while - what puts me off is the tortoiseshell scratchplate and truss rod cover. they command a surprisingly high price on ebay actually compared to the standard Epi.

i would actually look at the lowest output BKP P90 set for this one

very cool guitar - congrats!

lovely guitar - I'd be thinking of something a little hotter in that baby BKP91s all the way.
