Hey dudes,

Here's a new guitar tone I've been messing with today:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/790683/S00per-br00tz.mp3

I used my custom Dæmoness 7-string, with its Bare Knuckle Rebel Yell in the bridge. The amp tones are provided by my Axe-FX Ultra.
For drums I'm running Superior 2.0, with the Metal Foundry kit providing the majority of the sound. The snare is from the regular Avatar kit.

Hope you enjoy!

Hahaha.. If it's "tooo brutal", then it's just about brutal enough  :D

Its not the kind of tone i would go for at all.

It feels like being pummelled with a very large blunt heavy object, but i kinda get the feeling that may be along the lines of what you are going for with this?

I believe there will be many people who love tones like this, i just definitely arent one of them

Great job then, you achieved exactly what you set out to do.

By the way is this the new guitar with the tasty inlay?

Goddamn that tone is awesome!!!

Can you explain a little more how you achieved that? What amp model are you using I'm the Axe-FX?

I'm currently using an orange thunderverb and digging that tone, but this is insane!

Thanks Dizz, it's the "Das Metall" (Diezel VH4) and "New Recto" (Mesa Triple Rectifier) models running in stereo. There's a tubescreamer-style boost in front of them too.

It's very dense. Far too modern for my tastes but excellent for what you're obviously going for.

I prefer the getting-your-face-scr@ped-against-a-harled-wall or drowning-in-sand approach to sounds as opposed to squished-under-a-bulldozer one, y'see.

Resembles the clip you loaded for the C-Bomb demo on Youtube. But less saturated and cleaner.
