PK and TS's Christian Worship Interlude Song
« on: October 25, 2010, 11:16:30 PM »
This is a short little interlude song I did for fun, basically my tone for my worship band. Trilogy Suite's doing all the cleans, Painkiller is doing the distorted rhythm, Trilogy Suite neck is doing the lead. All in a 2006 Squier Affinity strat through a Valveking with a WGS V-30 speaker miced up with 2 SM-57's.
Working on it.

Christian....music.....skin.....boiling.....ears....burning.....NOOOOOOO!!!

j/k

I liked the tune, and the cleans are great. The OD sounds are a bit bee-in-a-jam-jar though. If you have the capability to reamp, a little power section saturation should help a lot with that, or a mic placement further from the centre of the cone, or off axis, or a combination of the above.
