Thanks, I'll check out Oracles.

Not really, no. Never got into the gothenberg thing.

Fair enough man :)  I'm not a huge gothenberg fan either, although I love Arch Enemy and old In Flames. Dark Tranquility has their moments as well. Anyways sorry for derailing this thread... yay Aftermath!

Awesome news, glad that I can start officially getting orders in for these! I'm excited to get one in one of my own 7-strings as well.

You'll have to give us the low-down when you get em...
I'm still running the junk stock pups in my s7320 (which is one of the reasons I don't use it very often )

Pretty sure the aftermath will my next bkp.
There are some that call me...morningstaru?

Will do man. I ordered a few sets just now along with some customer orders. Got an Aftermath 7 set in camo, open black, and satin black covered 6-string.

Well, a bridge camo with black allen bolts is being constructed right now with my name on it! Time for the Vociferator to get a bit more vocal!

Good stuff!

I tell you; you'll love it.

Anyway, I found out that I've actually (probably) had an aftermath neck for several months now as well

Not sure how that got overlooked exactly, but it was another nameless pre-release tim asked me if I wanted to test, its pure awesomeness, I asked him about it and he suspects its what became the neck

Had Hour of Penance on at Deathfest, they were good but a bit disappointing compared with the records, sadly. The albums are stellar fo' sho'.

I do actually think that this one will suit my new guitar just perfect :) Its a jackson fusion Pro std. Its a basswood body, 24 3/4 neck. I just got it today, and there was a warpig mounted on it. It sounds terribly bassy on this guitar. And my sound ideal is to get this guitar as tight and hot as it can get :)

he could go wrong - the black would have been the safe choice in roo's guitar.   I will be interested to see how the camo looks!

how do the 3 custom magnets work in this? is there like 1 big main ceramic magnet, with 2 outlying ceramic mags supporting it?
Ibanez RG7-Dsonic
Agile Septor 828MN-Coldsweat8
Peavey 5150-Bias mod

i reckoned its a big ceramic magnet with two smaller size ceramic where the spacer is supposed to be. maybe installed with opposing polarity similar to p90s to retain highs and mids. so technically its two mini p90s wired in series as a humbucker. or so i think.

on the side, can anyone who tried the aftermath make an educated guess how will it sound in a walnut body?

btw, first post here. go easy on me please? :P

Gah, thanks Wez! :/

I've currently got an aged nickel miracle man in there, and that looks great with a bit of visibility for the pickup on what is a very dark fronted guitar. I'll obviously post pics when it's in and we'll see!
