Just out of curiosity
« on: December 11, 2010, 07:45:30 PM »
Sorry if this thread has been posted before, or if I'm posting it in the wrong section. But I've always wondered if any artists have tried and commented on the pickups named after their songs. Like what Eddie Van Halen would say about the VHII or what Leslie West would say about the MQ or what Angus would say about the Riff Raff. I don't know, the users seem to be very very satisfied with the tones (I know I am), I was just wondering if any artists have tried the pickups named after them, especially the ones who have designed pickups for themselves under other companies. So yeah sorry if this question has been asked, I've just always wondered.

Well obviously SteveStevens has used the Rebel Yell, but he is also using other pickups, BKP and non-BKP. He surely likes his BKPs and has stated that on several occasions (he posts sometimes on hugeracksinc).

Other than that? No idea, if those guys even tried them, who knows. They surely wouldn't be disappointed.
