just got this back from the sprayer:




technically its an Octave 12 electric guitar, but has been named the MandoSG.  It has a vintage rickenbacker pickup - but is recessed in a route that will also accept a P-90, sounds pretty sweet as it is though

its the little brother to this

love the full size SG, very John Birch.  I know I keep threatening this, but I'm gonna have an SG off you some day Wez - you seem to get the cut 'just right'; like the old ones.

I think it looks pretty cool as well, Wez :D

Not sure I'd ever go for one though, I'd be more likely to find a use for a "real" acoustic mandolin.

Funnily enough, for some reason I don't even regard the Vox as an "abomination". I think it's got something to do with "I'm making a sound you can't get out of your strat/prs/lp/etc... I get it from THIS... HA! ... I look cool because I sound so cool, you losers..." :lol:
